Please read the notes below for preserving and pampering your Qt design.
Due to the delicate nature of soft leather and shearling, unsnap these products with care, avoid rough handling, and do not immerse in water. In order to preserve the natural texture and softness, Qt shearling has not been waterproof treated. If it gets wet, wipe immediately with an absorbent cloth. Qt designs are meant to fit snuggly. If your product is too snug, don’t panic! Leather is porous and therefore will stretch when wet. Apply a small amount of water to the back side of your qt product in a vertical strip from top to bottom and wear the product until it dries. Your qt design will mold to you. Stretching will vary depending upon how soft the leather is and how much of the product you wet. For soft leathers, start small. For sturdier leathers, you may wet a larger portion of the product. If your Qt product has detailing other than stitching, don’t wet that section. Qt shearling can not be stretched and should not be wet in any way. If you wish your qt design to remain pristine, you should clean and condition it more depending on how much you wear it. Qt recommends coach leather cleaner and conditioner. Do not use leather cleaner or conditioner on shearling products. Qt distressed leathers are intended to look weathered and will distress further with wear as a result of being in contact with your skin’s oils and the elements. The gentle irregularities, slight color variations, and weathering are intrinsic features of the leather and enhance the beauty of your unique Qt leather accessory.
